Homemade Bean Burrito (Microwave-Style)


What you need (makes several burritos):

  • Microwave safe plate
  • 1 can refried beans
  • 1 cup cheese
  • 1 can salsa or Rotel
  • Veggies of your choice: tomato, onions, peppers, mushrooms, spinach/lettuce etc.


Place a tortilla on plate. Spread refried beans on tortilla. Sprinkle with cheese and salsa. Heat in microwave for 30 seconds to 1 minute.  Add the rest of the ingredients as you like. Roll up and enjoy!!

**Can be made in advance and heated up on campus**
